Why Train in Dermal Fillers?
Since it’s approval for cosmetic use in 2004, Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers have grown steadily while other types of fillers and volume enhancing procedures have declined. It has a number of advantages and should be the first aesthetic injection procedure you should train in along with Botulinum Toxin…
- The most popular type of dermal filler with over 90% market share compared to non-HA dermal fillers.
- Most people over the age of 40 are candidates for naso-labial folds and other linear indications.
- Lip reinflation is popular in women at all ages.
- Additional areas can be added on per the patient’s wishes over time.
- No equipment expense or initial investment.
- You are Profitable from the First Treatment.
- Straightforward to learn in a 1-day hands-on CME-Accredited Training curriculum
- Complications very rare with good technique and judgment. In rare instances, HA dermal fillers can be reversed.
- High patient knowledge of the procedure makes consultations very straightforward. Patients generally know when they need Fillers
- Quick learning curve, so new trainees can feel confident faster when performing the high success linear areas and lips.
- Margins are generally capped at 55-60%
- Competition in almost every market (however patient demand appears to be growing faster than the competing providers in most markets).
- It can be tempting to do fillers in areas that have a low success/high complication rate. Just say “no” to fringe applications and you will build a successful practice.
What to Look for in a Dermal Filler Training Course...

- CME Accreditation
- Small Group Hands-On using real US-Sourced Product Guaranteed
- Training in all areas that work with no fringe indications
- Know who your faculty is before you sign up.
- Do not train from someone who you outrank. MD’s should not learn from NP’s and NP’s should not learn from RN’s.
- No need for “advanced” or “Level 2” courses
